Loughborough University - Pushing Boundaries

AV Presentation

The 'Pushing Boundaries' campaign was launched at the University's inaugural Enterprise Awards. The material is now used widely to engage internal and external stakeholders. We began with a three-minute film to illustrate how Loughborough exploits its research expertise to benefit industry, society and the economy. We developed strong graphics that work dynamically on film and in print for brochures, posters and mailers.

MTV Ad, Sweden 2007

Briefed to produce an eye catching, very cutting edge TV spot for the Swedish market. Heralding the introduction of acidic bright colours as the key trend for 2008.

Track by Shy Child derived from our support of the band via Subculture. Design, animation and production all in-house at De Facto.

MTV Ad, Global 2004

Produced to reinforce the unique heritage of the brand on a global level. Utilising archive images that we discovered for the brand during the research for the 2002 Icon Book (50 years of the brand).

Sound track by The Kinks – it assisted in defining Fred Perry as an original and authentic British fashion brand.

Our first MTV Ad for Fred Perry. They were very keen to use an old archive shot of a chap wearing different coloured Fred Perry’s.

We built a fun advert around the image and also launched it as a very successful on-line game. We also sourced the sound track - ‘Guns Fever’ by Baba Brooks.

The video is targeted at the medical profession to provide them with the key benefits of a technical product in an engaging manner.

Ted Baker - Endurance

Mini CD Rom card

Innovative piece of work that saw 70,000 credit card sized CD ROMs placed in the back neck labels of each Ted Baker Endurance suit. We provided all the art direction, production and animation.

The client was so pleased they allowed our branding to appear on the end credit screen.

We were asked to encapsulate the 50 years plus of heritage alongside some of the groundbreaking new developments (Comme Des Garcons/Andy Murray/Paul Weller limited edition shirt and Subculture) in a punchy 90 second piece at their worldwide distributor conference.


TV Advert

Part of a re-design of Yorvik marketing collateral, we were commissioned to produce a TV advert.

Working very creatively on a tight budget, it was shot in summer using ‘rain’ produced from a Fire Engine, strobe lighting and a smoke machine to give the effect of a stormy winters night.


Presentation graphics

The client required a punchy and strong visual framework to deliver key messages on modern ways of working utilising IT, transport and flexibility.

A tight deadline meant that all graphics and animation had to be completed within 3 days, prior to a cinema presentation to 200 invited guests.
